VCE Vblock™ Systems Series 700 Architecture Overview

Aggregating multiple Vblock systems

Multiple Vblock systems can be connected into a common network at a high level. The following illustration

shows a configuration in which two Vblock systems are aggregated. The UCS domain and SAN on each

Vblock system are maintained separately. The SANs within the Vblock systems share common services, such

as migration and backup/data recovery, within an aggregated Cisco MDS 9500 Series Director. However, no

resources are shared between the Vblock system SANs.
