VCE Vblock™ Systems Series 700 Architecture Overview

The Cisco Nexus 5548UP Ethernet switch supports low latency line-rate 10 GB Ethernet and Fibre Channel

over Ethernet (FCoE) connectivity on up to 32 ports or 48 ports including the expansion module. Fibre Channel

on a Cisco Nexus 5548UP is not supported by VCE.

Cisco Nexus 7010 IP switches

For extremely demanding IP networking scenarios for the 700MX, Cisco Nexus 7010 switches can replace the

Cisco Nexus 5548UP Ethernet switches.
